C.S.CARGO partners with Letní Letná festival and will support unique video mapping show of architect Jan Kaplický’s library
C.S.CARGO is this year’s partner of Letní Letná, international festival of cirque nouveau and theatre, which will be held 16 August – 3 September in Prague. Next to a NoFit State Circus (UK) performance titled Bianco, C.S.CARGO will also extend its patronage to a unique video mapping show at the festival opening night. The spatial augmented reality show will take place on Sunday 16 August from 10pm and admission is free of charge.
The twelfth edition of Letní Letná, international cirque nouveau and theatre festival, takes place in its traditional location of Letná Park in Prague and there are 135 shows on the programme. The biggest attractions are NoFit State Circus from the United Kingdom playing Bianco, and Rasposo of France.
“We have been partner of Letní Letná already for two years. Next to Bianco by NoFit State Circus, which is one of the top cirque nouveau acts globally, we are pleased to be able to support the unique video mapping projection of an original visualisation of architect Jan Kaplický’s library,” comments Aziz Jahić, Marketing Director C.S.CARGO.
The original video mapping projection of architect Jan Kaplický’s library onto the NoFit State Circus tent is the main attraction of the festival opening night. The show starts at 10pm and runs – in several cycles - until 11pm; admission is free.
“We have been trying to stage such a project for a long time; the Špejchar location lends itself to it naturally. We are happy that NoFit State Circus and their tent, which has a similar form to the ‘Prague Eye’, will now make it possible. New circus will build a new library!” comments, with slight exaggeration, Jiří Turek, Festival Director.
