C.S.CARGO races at Prague’s Stromovka park
A total of 16 teams started in the O2 Prague Relay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, 27 June. Dressed in the C.S.CARGO colours, 64 of our colleagues faced the task of conquering the 4 x 5 km course in the shortest possible time.
Runners from Jičín, Liberec, Ostrava and Prague came to race. Colleagues from Air & Sea also took part, the Zelinka Customs Brokerage was represented by four teams and even Slovakia was present at the starting line with its all-female relay team. The teams were composed of runners of various ages and performance levels from across our whole company. Everyone enthusiastically handled the race with smiles on their faces. The relaxed atmosphere was enhanced by the teams’ own fan base composed of Jičín Invoicing and Controlling. All of the runners prepared for the event in their own way. Some trained impeccably, while for others it was their first attempt. The closing picnic at Prague’s Stromovka park was clearly the icing on the cake for all participants and fans.
It total, 655 teams took part in Thursday’s relay. For C.S.CARGO, the best team was Air & Sea, which placed 77th, followed by the Calculators in 228th place, with the Fast and Furious team hot on their heels in 230th place. We would like to thank all of the participants very much for their exemplary representation and we look forward to seeing everyone again at the starting line next year. After the enthusiastic response, we believe that there will be even more of us there.
