C.S.CARGO Invests CZK 300 Million into Fleet Renewal
C.S.CARGO will take delivery of one hundred Volvo, Mercedes Benz, and Scania vehicles this fall as part of regular fleet renewal.
The transaction is this year's biggest purchase of cargo vehicles of the relevant type on the Czech market.
All of the new vehicles meet the strict requirements of the EURO 6 emission standard. They are not only environment-friendly, but also economical in terms of fuel consumption. The renewal of the company's fleet will include the purchase of Krone and Schmitz trailers and semi-trailers. Thanks to that, C.S.CARGO will be able to put 100 large-capacity cargo vehicles into service immediately. Most of them are 120 cubic-meter units whose technical specifications have been fully adapted to the company's current needs and ventures.
Aleš Willert, CEO of C.S.CARGO, comments the transaction, "The primary factors considered in making the decision on investing into new additions to our fleet were the quality of services we provide to our customers, capacity, and ecological considerations. In addition, the decision to invest was facilitated by the recovery in the freight transport segment. In recent months, international transport has exhibited strong growth, and domestic transport has followed suit. Specifically, if you look closely at the individual industrial segments for which we provide transport and logistical services, the most dynamically growing appears to be the automotive industry, which is followed by the FMCG and retail segments. Another area that is developing in a promising way is the segment of construction and insulating materials." He adds, "Since more and more customers are asking for storage space, C.S.CARGO has decided to expand its logistics capacity and related services."
