C.S.CARGO expands into Russia
At the beginning of the year, C.S.CARGO opened C.S.GARGO Russia s.r.o., a subsidiary
through which business operations will be expanded into Russia and CIS countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and others). The opening of the Hradec Králové-based subsidiary included hiring staff to work under the leadership of Ludmila Hlavsová who has been appointed the subsidiary's Managing Director.
Aleš Willert, CEO of C.S.CARGO a.s. says: "We have decided to expand eastward in view of the constantly growing business potential offered by Russia and CIS countries. C.S.CARGO Russia will be directed by Ludmila Hlavsová, an experienced manager with a proven track record of organizing transport and logistical services in Russia and other eastern countries."
Hlavsová worked for ATL CZ for 11 years, including 10 years in the position of Managing Director. She transformed the originally small, little known company into a prosperous business specializing in transport to Russia and other eastern countries, including logistical services in the Russian territory. Her main interests include sports – cycling, skiing, and golf. She speaks fluent Russian and English.
C.S.CARGO Russia s.r.o. will specialize in transport and logistical services between Europe, the Czech Republic in particular, and Russia and other CIS destinations. C.S.CARGO Russia s.r.o. will rely on its intimate familiarity with the local market in dealing with business, administrative, and customs specifics that exist in the region.
Hlavsová explains: "Together with C.S.CARGO Russia sales specialists, my main task will be to put into use my experience and knowledge with a view to developing logistical services on eastern markets. The objective is to strengthen further the C.S.CARGO Group's position on both the European and Russian markets."
In 2019, the C.S.CARGO Group achieved sales of CZK 4.8 billion
Prague, 16 June 2020 - In 2019, the transport and logistics group C.S.CARGO earned a total of 4.8 billion crowns from all its activities. Profitability in the EBITDA indicator increased to 404 million crowns. The group recorded growth in the logistics segment. Maritime transport and air cargo have risen by 13%.
C.S.CARGO partners with Czech women sailors at the World Championship in Auckland, New Zealand
C.S.CARGO travelled with women sailors Dominika Vaďurová and Sára Tkadlecová to the World Championship in Auckland, New Zealand. The company carried all their equipment for the 49erFX class World Championship from December 3 to 8, which was also a qualifier for the Tokyo Olympics.
C.S.CARGO races at Prague’s Stromovka park
A total of 16 teams started in the O2 Prague Relay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, 27 June. Dressed in the C.S.CARGO colours, 64 of our colleagues faced the task of conquering the 4 x 5 km course in the shortest possible time.
C.S.CARGO Group increased its revenues to more than CZK 4.8 billion in 2018
The revenues of the transport and logistics group C.S.CARGO grew to more than CZK 4.8 billion last year. Of key importance for this growth was, in particular, the road transport segment with 7% year-on-year growth amounting to CZK 242 million. Logistics also confirmed continuous growth in 2018 with 71,000 m2 of warehousing capacity. Shipping to the CIS countries, sea and air transport and customs services also continued the growth trend. The operating result at the EBITDA level amounted to CZK 262 million.
C.S.CARGO defends its primacy in the Employer of the Year competition in the regional category of up to 5,000 employees
C.S.CARGO has again found success in the Employer of the Year ranking, which is part of the Annual Employers’ Club Awards 2019. Like last year, the company won first place in the category Regional Employer with up to 5,000 employees in the Hradec Králové region.
