Tesco entered the Czech and Slovak markets in 1996 and is among the leading retail outlets in the two countries, operating more than 230 stores in the Czech Republic and more than 140 in Slovakia. C.S.CARGO is Tesco's long-term logistics partner for a whole range of transport services, including software support, online information flows, and reporting.

Client

Tesco selected C.S.CARGO as its partner in 2007 when the companies decided to work together in Slovakia.

Since then, cooperation has expanded and evolved along with the customer's demands and the expanding range of services provided by C.S.CARGO.

Secondary Distribution

We provide Tesco with secondary distribution in Slovakia from the Beckov distribution center, where we dispatch more than 160 transports a day to various locations in Slovakia. We regularly dedicate 80 cargo vehicles of various sizes and specifications to this project to transport all sorts of refrigerated and non-refrigerated food products and consumer goods. Thanks to the size and quality of our fleet, we can provide capacity flexibility during spikes in distribution and dealing with urgent situations.

Primary Distribution

C.S.CARGO cooperates with Tesco Primary on regular projects for various companies, including Procter & Gamble, Coca-cola, Metsa Tissue, Pragolaktos, and Rajo. C.S.CARGO provides daily deliveries to distribution centers in Beckov and Prešov in Slovakia and Postřižíny in the Czech Republic. We have become a proven provider of transport solutions for Tesco and we continue to strengthen our cooperation. We've also managed to improve our effectiveness thanks to a newly created dispatching center.
