C.S.CARGO invested over CZK 300 million in fleet upgrade in 2015
C.S.CARGO, Czech provider of logistics and transport services, acquired new trucks worth CZK 300 million in 2015. The purchase of 120 Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, DAF or MAN trucks was the highest-value vehicle acquisition in the past five years.
C.S.CARGO drivers are getting new vehicles worth over CZK 300 million to drive their routes in the Czech Republic and Europe. All new vehicles meet Euro 6 emission limits, and, according to the road experience of the new vehicles so far, they save on running costs. In addition to 120 haulers, C.S.CARGO bought a matching number of Schmitz, Krone, Wecon and GTS trailers and semi-trailers.
“The economic recovery that we are seeing presently, and the related boom in the transportation business, allows us to invest in an upgrade of our fleet. Since 2011, we bought more than four hundred trucks and about the same number of trailers and semi-trailers, and spent over CZK 1.2 billion over the period. Our drivers, both men and women, welcome the opportunity to drive modern vehicles. Their sufficient capacity and climate-friendly operation help us meet the demand from our clients,” explains Aleš Willert, CEO C.S.CARGO.
At present, C.S.CARGO operates a fleet of 850 own vehicles, of which about a half meets the stringent emission limits Euro 5 EEV and Euro 6.
