Five C.S.CARGO Drivers Win International IRU Award
Five drivers from C.S.CARGO now have an IRU (International Road Transport Union) award to their name. The awards, DIPLOMA OF HONOUR 2014, were presented to their recipients at the regional meeting of ČESMAD Bohemia (Association of Road Transport Operators) in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic.
No fewer than 20 years behind the wheel, 5 years of cooperation with a member of ČESMAD, 1,000,000 kilometres on the clock, 20 years without an accident and 5 years without a serious traffic or customs offence – those are the nomination criteria for drivers aspiring to win the IRU honours. Drivers who meet the criteria can be nominated directly by members of ČESMAD Bohemia. Every year, drivers who diligently carry out their duty and meet the expectations of their employers, are nominated for the award. The IRU award can be granted to one driver only once in their lifetime.
This year’s award recipients were: Jaroslav Pour and Leoš Balatka from the Jičín branch of C.S.CARGO; Luboš Smitka and Miroslav Bek from the Pilsen branch; and Milan Kratochvíl from Brno completed the Fab Five. “We want to thank our colleagues for their excellent and exemplary work for C.S.CARGO a.s., and we also wish them a lot of success and many more safe kilometres on the clock. We hope that their personal example will inspire our other employees, as well as all other professional drivers,” said Aleš Willert, CEO C.S.CARGO. The awarded drivers were presented their IRU DIPLOMA OF HONOUR 2014 from the hands of the General Secretary of ČESMAD the regional meeting of ČESMAD Bohemia in Hradec Králové.
