Attend the ARENA Festival of the Forman Brothers’ Theatre supported by C.S.CARGO

From 12-16 June, the third edition of the ARENA Festival of the Forman Brothers’ Theatre will take place near the railway bridge on the Smíchov náplavka embankment. C.S.CARGO is a partner of this year’s festival, which will offer several Czech and one world pre-premiere.

The world-famous Cirque Trottola troupe will perform its new “Campana”. The Belgian Circus Ronaldo will appear for the first time in Prague with a performance of “La Cucina dell´Arte” and festivalgoers will also be treated to the world pre-premiere of “Parbleu!” by Atelier Lefeuvre & André. Of course, the Forman Brothers’ Theatre will be present with its new production “Šťastný princ”. The event will also feature a performance by the new generation of young artists from the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts created specifically for the festival.

“I’m enthusiastic about this year’s programme selection. It was a year of work with tremendous effort, but we managed to bring in global stars with original performances. I highly value our collaboration with the Faculty of Theatre and I’m curious how our challenge will turn out for the other young artists,” says Petr Forman, art director of the ARENA Festival.

“Our collaboration with the Forman Brothers’ Theatre has lasted since 2010, when we donated a truck modified to transport a mobile theatre tent for the cabaret project Obludárium. And that same tent for Obludárium will be used by the artists in this year’s edition of the ARENA Festival. The youngest theatrical generation will demonstrate their art in it,” addsAziz Jahić, marketing director at C.S.CARGO.

For all festivalgoers, an accompanying programme has been prepared in the form of workshops, theatrical performances, concerts on dry land and on a boat and continuous appearances by performers at the festival venue. Entry to the venue is free of charge throughout the festival; tickets for individual performance are on sale on the GOOUT portal.
