Aleš Willert becomes new general manager of the entire C.S.CARGO group. Petr Volák takes over management of the Czech company C.S.CARGO
Prague, 13 September 2018 – Aleš Willert, until recently the general manager of C.S.CARGO, became the general manager of the entire C.S.CARGO Holding a.s. group on 1 September. He was replaced at C.S.CARGO a.s. by Petr Volák. The purpose of these changes is to enhance synergies of all countries where C.S.CARGO operates, mutual cooperation and exploitation of business opportunities.
Effective 1 September, Aleš Willert was appointed general manager of the entire C.S.CARGO Holding a.s. group, which currently includes the companies C.S.CARGO a.s., C.S.CARGO Slovakia a.s. and C.S.CARGO Poland. In addition to overseeing joint projects and exploitation of business opportunities, Mr. Willert is also in charge of strategy.

Aleš Willert has worked at C.S.CARGO a.s. since 2010, when he began as the operations manager. In April 2012, he was named to the position of general manager of the company and also became chairman of the board of directors of C.S.CARGO a.s. He has spent practically his entire career in the field of transport and logistics, having gained his experience as, for example, the operations manager of the logistics company ESA s.r.o. and as manager and chairman of the board of directors of Milktrans a.s.
The board of directors named Petr Volák to the position of general manager of C.S.CARGO a.s. as of 1 September. Mr. Volák had previously worked for C.S.CARGO from 2009 to 2016, first as a regional manager and from 2012 as manager of the transport division. Prior to that, he held management positions in the Carrefour ČR retail chain from 1998 to 2003 and at the logistics company Loguran a.s. from 2004 to 2009. In his last year at Loguran, he served as the manager of the company. He was also the manager of SD sped a.s. from January 2018.

Aleš Willert, general manager of C.S.CARGO Group, has been named vice-president for freight haulage of the ČESMAD BOHEMIA Association of Road Transport Operators for the next three years. This service and lobbying organisation assists its member with advancing their interests.
C.S.CARGO wins two Czech Public Relations Awards for the “Every nation has its heroes!” project commemorating the republic’s centennial
C.S.CARGO found success in the Czech Public Relations Awards 2019 (LEMUR) with its “Every nation has its heroes!” campaign. The company won awards in two categories: second place in the Services category and third place in the Corporate Communication category. The Association of Public Relations Agencies presents the awards for the best communication projects of the previous year.
Attend the ARENA Festival of the Forman Brothers’ Theatre supported by C.S.CARGO
From 12-16 June, the third edition of the ARENA Festival of the Forman Brothers’ Theatre will take place near the railway bridge on the Smíchov náplavka embankment. C.S.CARGO is a partner of this year’s festival, which will offer several Czech and one world pre-premiere.

C.S.CARGO Group invested nearly CZK 155 million in upgrading its vehicle fleet last year. Modernisation and eco-friendliness are the priorities
C.S.CARGO Group purchased trucks at a cost of CZK 155 million in 2018. The company acquired 51 Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, MAN and Renault vehicles and 48 trailers. A completely new aspect was the purchase of six custom-manufactured trailers for transporting specific handling equipment.
